Everything You Need to Know

What is CoreScout Telestrator?

CoreScout Telestrator is a professional web-based football video analysis and tactical drawing application. It enables coaches, performance analysts, and scouts to draw broadcast-quality tactical graphics, anchor annotations to moving players with AI computer vision, edit video clips on a multi-track timeline, and export watermarked match reviews.

Does CoreScout Telestrator require software installation or high-end GPUs?

No software download or specialized GPU workstation is required. CoreScout Telestrator runs directly inside any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) on laptops, desktops, and iPadOS devices with hardware-accelerated canvas processing.

How does the AI Player Tracking Auto-Anchor feature work?

CoreScout features built-in computer vision object detection for football match footage. When you place spotlights, segmented rings, or vision cones over a player with "AI Snap" enabled, the system binds the drawing to the player and translates the graphics dynamically across video frames as the player moves across the pitch.

Is my match video footage uploaded to an external cloud or third-party server?

No. CoreScout is built on an offline-first, client-side architecture. All video decoding, telestration rendering, and MP4 exporting happen directly inside your browser. Your confidential match footage, training drills, and tactical data remain strictly on your local machine.

What video formats and scouting platforms are supported?

CoreScout supports all standard MP4, WebM, and MOV match video files exported from industry tools like Hudl Sportscode, Wyscout, InStat, Catapult, VEO, and broadcast cameras in resolutions up to 4K 60fps.

Can I export both full video clips and static presentation slides?

Yes. You can export 60 FPS MP4 video clips with custom watermarks burnt in or download high-resolution lossless PNG slides of freeze frames for tactical PDFs, WhatsApp coach briefs, or PowerPoint decks.
